ACAROM is the largest representative automotive association in Romania and gathers 144 companies that develop existing and new activities in the automotive industry. Established in 1996, ACAROM is the voice of the Romanian automotive industry.

Tunisian Welding Association (ATS)

The Tunisian Welding Association "ATS" is a non-profit organization installed at Sfax - Tunisia since May 2014. It was created by university teachers and industrialists to improve relations between the teaching, research and corporate world in all areas related to the welding sector (welding, Cutting, metal construction, control, safety, etc.) and to promote and develop welding activities in Tunisia.

To realize its objectives, ATS has taken a cooperative approach, trying to bring together all stakeholders in this field (industrial and academic). Thus, it has been able to establish co-operation agreements with academic, professional training and industrial establishments and develop its network of national and international partners.

This approach enabled the ATS to carry out several projects and activities, including mainly:

  • Training, qualification and certification in welding and control
  • Improvement of production and / or marketing facilities and tools
  • Development of a database and sector analysis in Tunisia
