Heat Treatments
- (+N): Austenitized or solutionized at 900-940°C, cooled in air, water or polymer.<br>(+QT): Austenitized or solutionized at 900-940°C, cooled in air, water or polymer. Annealed at 620-660°C
- Hardened: 900 to 940°C, after reaching the temperature in total cross-sectional area, liquid cooling; Tempered: 620 to 660°C, 3 min/mm wall thickness, but not less than 1h holding time, cooling in the furnace or in still air; Stress relieved: 600 to 640°C, but at least 20°C below the tempering temperature, 3 min/mm wall thickness, but not less than 1h holding time, cooling in the furnace or in still air.
