ISO 4021-420-00-I Heat Treatments
- Hot forming: 1100-800°C, slow cooling; Annealing: (+A): 745-825°C, air cooling; Quenching and tempering (+QT1) - Quenching: 950-1050°C, oil, air or water cooling; Tempering: 650-750°C. Quenching and tempering (+QT2) - Quenching: 950-1050°C, oil, air or water cooling; Tempering: 600-700°C.
- Hot forming: 1100-800°C, slow cooling; Quenching and tempering (+QT) (Only for cold rolled strips): Quenching: 950-1050°C, oil or air cooling; Tempering: 200-350°C. Annealing: (+A): 730-790°C; Quenching and tempering (+QT1) - Quenching: 950-1010°C, oil or air cooling; Tempering: 700-780°C. Quenching and tempering (+QT2) - Quenching: 950-1010°C, oil or air cooling; Tempering: 620-700°C.
