CSN 17 022 Heat Treatments
- Forging at 1100 to 900°C, cooling in furnace or ash;
Hardening at 1000 to 1050°C, cooling in oil;
Tempering at 650 to 750°C, delay temperature for 2 h, cooling in air;
Annealing at 800 to 840°C, delay temperature for 1 h, cool in the furnace at 0.5°C/min to a temperature of 650°C, then air;
