Heat Treatments

  • Hot formed at 1100-800°C, slow cooled.<br>A: annealed at 750-850°C.<br>QT700: quenched at 950-1050°C, oil or air cooled. Tempered at 650-750°C.<br>QT800: quenched at 950-1050°C, oil or air cooled. Tempered at 600-700°C.
  • Hot forming: 1100-800°C, slow cooling; Annealing (+A): 745-825°C, air cooling; Quenching (+QT700): 950-1050°C, oil or air cooling; (If heat treatment is carried out in a continuous furnace, the upper part of the range specified should usually be preferred, or even exceeded); Tempering: 650-750°C; Quenching (+QT800): 950-1050°C, oil or air cooling; (If heat treatment is carried out in a continuous furnace, the upper part of the range specified should usually be preferred, or even exceeded); Tempering: 600-700°C.
