PN 2H13 Heat Treatments
- Forging at 1150 - 900°C; Soft annealing at 750 - 800°C; Hardening at 980 - 1050°C, cooling in air or oil; Tempering at 660 - 770°C, cooling in air, oil or water.
The basic structure of steel after heat treatment: troostite, sorbite. - T690: Hardening at 980-1030°C and cooling in oil and Tempering at 680-730°C and cooling in the air or oil; T780: Hardening at 980-1030°C and cooling in oil and Tempering at 630-700°C and cooling in the air.
