Heat Treatments

  • <b>Annealed</b> at 775 to 825°C for semi-finished products forging and re-rolling, bars and wire rods for machining and at 800 to 850°C for semi-finished products for hot-spinning, wire rod intended for drawing or forming;<br> <b>Quenched and tempered condition (T700): </b> Quenched at 950-1000°C, oil and air cooled and Tempered at 675-725°C; <br> <b>Quenched and tempered condition (T800): </b> Quenched at 950-1000°C, oil and air cooled and Tempered at 650-700°C.
  • <b>Quenched and tempered:</b> Oil quenched at 950-1000°C and tempered at 180-210°C. <br> <b>Softened state:</b> Annealed at 730-780°C, cooled in oven.
