MS X7CrNiAl17-7 Heat Treatments


  • Hot forming (air cooling): 1150-900°C; +AT - Annealing: 1030-1050°C, air cooling; +P1300 - 760/40 min. to 820/30 min. and quick cooling to = 20°C; cooling within 1 h at 12°C; reheating in air to + 20°C. Precipitation hardening 480/2 h to 550/1 h; +P1450 - 945 to 965°C, 10 min. and quick cooling to = 20°C, cooling within 1 h to - 70°C, holding time 8 h; reheating in air to + 20°C and Precipitation hardening 500 to 520°C, 1h.
  • Hot forming (air cooling): 1150-900°C; +AT: Solution annealing at 1060 to 1080°C and water or air cooling.
