JIS SUS631 Heat Treatments
- Solution treatment: Heated at 1000-1100°C, rapid cooled.
Precipitation hardening treatment:
RH950: Heated at 955°C ± 10°C, for 10 minutes, air cooled down to room temperature, cooled to -73°C ± 6°C within 24 hours, for 8 hours, held at 510°C ± 10°C, for 60 minutes, air cooled.
TH1050: Heated at 760°C ± 15°C, for 90 minutes, cooled down to 15°C or lower within 1 hour, held for 30 minutes, held at 565°C ± 10°C, for 90 minutes, air cooled. - Solution treatment (S): 1000 - 1100°C, rapid cooling. Precipitation hardening: RH950: after solution treatment,, hold at 955°C +/- 10°C (10 minutes), air cool down to room temperature, cool down to -73°C +/- 6°C within 24 hours, hold for 8 h, hold at 510°C +/- 10°C for 60 min and air cool.
TH1050: after solution treatment, hold at 760°C +/- 15°C for 90 min, cool down to 15°C or lower within 1h, hold for 30 min, hold at 565°C +/- 10°C for 90 min and air cool.
