PROPRIETARY Formadur 2083 Superclean Heat Treatments


  • Soft annealing: 760-799°C, cooling: furnace 7°C/hour to 649°C then air cool. Hardening: 999- 1049°C hold at temperature for 30 minutes, cooling: furnace quench to 149°C, then cool to below 65°C. Stress-Relieving: 649°C, cooling: furnace hold time 2 hours, slowly cool in furnace to 493°C and then air cool.
