Heat Treatments

  • Heated to 996°C ± 14°C (1825°F ± 25°F), held at heat for 30 minutes ± 3 minutes and cooled at a rate equivalent to still air cooling.
  • Subcritical annealed: 730-790°C; Full annealed: 845-900°C; Hardened: 980-1040°C, quenching in oil or air.
