ASTM A 988 S17400 Heat Treatments
- Conditions: A, H900, H925, H1025, H1075, H1100, H1150 and H1150M solution heat treated at 1024 - 1079°C (1875 - 1975°F), cooled as required to below 32°C (90°F) and aged except for Condition A. Aging:
Condition H900 - aged at 482°C (900°F) for 1h, air cooled;
Condition H925 - aged at 496°C (925°F) for 4h, air cooled;
Condition H1025 -aged at 552°C (1025°F) for 4h, air cooled;
Condition H1075 - aged at 579°C (1075°F) for 4h, air cooled;
Condition H1100 - aged at 593°C (1100°F) for 4h, air cooled;
Condition H1150 - aged at 621°C (1150°F) for 4h, air cooled;
Condition H1150M - aged at 760°C (1400°F) for 2h, air cooled, plus at 621°C (1150°F) for 4h, air cooled.
