ASTM A 982 S17400 Heat Treatments
- Class 1:
Austenitized: 1025 - 1050°C (1875 - 1925°F),
Quenched: air or liquid,
Aged: 615 - 630°C (1135 - 1165°F),
Stress relieved: 595°C (1100°F) min.
Heat treating temperatures shall be controlled in the range of ±14°C (±25°F).
