Heat Treatments

  • Hot formed at 1150-900°C, air cooled.<br>A: Annealed at 600-750°C, furnace or air cooled.<br>P930: Quenched at 1020-1080°C, oil cooled. Tempered at 620°C.<br>P1070: Quenched at 1020-1080°C, oil cooled. Tempered at 550°C.<br>P1300: Quenched at 1020-1080°C, oil cooled. Tempered at 480°C.
  • Homogenised, solution treated, precipitation hardened and sub zero:<br />1150°C; ≥ 90 minutes; air cooled or oil quenched.<br />1040°C; ≥ 60 minutes; air cooled or oil quenched.<br />480°C; ≥ 4 h; air cooled.<br />-70°C; ≥ 60 minutes.
