MS X5CrNiCuNb16-4 Heat Treatments
- Hot forming (furnace or air cooling): 1150-900°C; +AT (Not suitable for direction application; prompt precipitation hardening after solution annealing is recommended to avoid cracking). Solution annealing at 1020 to 1060°C and rapid cooling; +P1: Solution annealing at 1020 to 1060°C and rapid cooling. Precipitation hardening at 470 to 490°C and cooling in air; +P2: Solution annealing at 1020 to 1060°C and rapid cooling. Precipitation hardening at 540 to 560°C and cooling in air; +P3: Solution annealing at 1020 to 1060°C and rapid cooling. Precipitation hardening at 570 to 590°C and cooling in air; +P4: Solution annealing at 1020 to 1060°C and rapid cooling. Precipitation hardening at 610 to 630°C and cooling in air.
