AFNOR NF X5CrNiCuNb16-4 Heat Treatments
- Hot formed at 1150-900°C, air cooled.
A: Annealed at 600-750°C, furnace or air cooled.
P930: Quenched at 1020-1080°C, oil cooled. Tempered at 620°C.
P1070: Quenched at 1020-1080°C, oil cooled. Tempered at 550°C.
P1300: Quenched at 1020-1080°C, oil cooled. Tempered at 480°C. - AT - Solutionize: 1040°C, cool in oil, air or water; P930 - Solutionize: 1040°C, cool in oil, air or water; precipitate: 620°C, 4 hours and air cool; P1300 - Solutionize: 1040°C, cool in oil, air or water; precipitate: 480°C, 1 hours and air cool.
