PROPRIETARY PV4 Heat Treatments


  • Soft annealing: 710 - 750°C, bared cooling.
    Stress Relieving: 600 - 650°C, bared cooling.
    Hardening: 780 - 800°C (until 40 mm) or 800 - 820°C (40 - 60 mm), oil or hot bath 500°C cooling.
    Tempering: 180 - 250°C, stagnant air cooling.
  • Soft annealed: 710-750°C, furnace cooled (HB ≤ 220)
    Stress relief annealed: 600-650°C, furnace cooled
    Hardened: 780-840°C, oil or water cooled
