PROPRIETARY W 1.2738 Heat Treatments
- Hardening: heating at about 850°C (1560°F) with a sufficient holding time 1 hour / 25 mm. Oil or air quenching depending on thickness.
Tempering: uniform heating at the selected tempering temperature (holding time: 1 hour per 25.4 mm of total thickness), double tempering with intermediate cooling to room temperature.
