- Soft annealing: 710-750°C, cooling: furnace. Stress-relief annealing: approx. 650-680°C, cooling: furnace. Hardening: 810-840°C, Quenching: oil (d < 15 mm). Hardening: 780-810°C, Quenching: water (d > 15 mm).
