AFNOR NF G50CrMo4 Heat Treatments
- Quenched and tempered (+QT1): Air quenched at 850 to 910°C and tempered at 600 to 650°C
Quenched and tempered (+QT2): Oil quenched at 850 to 910°C and tempered at 200 to 250°C
Structure:
- for +QT1 condition – Ferrite, pearlite and bainitic
- for +QT2 condition – Martensitic (bainitic)
