AFNOR NF 50 CD 4-M Heat Treatments
- Quenched and tempered (I);
Air quenched at 850 to 910°C and tempered at 600 to 650°C;
Quenched and tempered (II);
Oil quenched at 850 to 910°C and tempered at 200 to 250°C;
Structure:
- for +QT1 condition – Ferrite, pearlite and bainitic
- for +QT2 condition – Martensitic (Bainitic)
