PROPRIETARY DU3 Heat Treatments


  • Solution treated and aged (Type 1): At 480°C for 1 hour; air cooled.
    Solution treated and aged (Type 2): At 620°C for 4 hours; air cooled.
    Solution treated: At 1040°C; oil quenched.
    Aged: By age hardening at 480-620°C, depending on the level of mechanical characteristics required.
