PROPRIETARY BE4034 Heat Treatments
- Annealing at 730 - 790°C (1365 - 1455°F).
Stress relieving around 650°C (1200°F).
Hardening: Austenitizing at 980 - 1050°C (1800 - 1920°F) and quenching in oil.
Tempering at 100 - 200°C (210 - 390°F), slow heating to tempering temperature immediately after hardening and holding in furnace for minimum 2 h. Cooling in the furnace until temperature have fallen below 100°C (210°F)
