PN 33H3MF Heat Treatments
- HT1 (Guidelines for softening): Hardening at 920-960°C, cooling in oil, than Tempering at T= 580-660°C, and cooling in air; HT2 (Guidelines for plastic working): Heated at forging temperature T= 1150-850°C; Softened at T=700-730°C; Normalized at T=920-960°C; Hardened at T=920-960°C and cooled in oil; Tempered at T=580-660°C; Nitriding at 500-520°C.
