PN 15HM Heat Treatments
- Normalizing 910-940ºC, 1+2 min. 1 mm thickness of the sheet but no less than 20 min. and then cooling in the air; Tempering 650-720°C, 1+3 min. 1 mm thick but not less than 15 min.; Stress relief annealing 660-710°C, 2 min. for 1 mm thick sheet but then less than 15 minutes; Hardening at 900-930°C, cooling in the oil or water and Quenching at 680-720°C, hold time at temperature min. 2h.
