CSN 15 121 Heat Treatments
- Forging at 1100 to 850°C.
Normalizing at 900 to 950°C, cooling in air.
Tempering at 620 to 700°C (for pipes and forgings at 620 and 720°C).
Annealing at 600 to 650°C.
Hardening at 910 to 940°C, cooling in oil or in water intermittently.
Tempering after quenching at 650 to 720°C, cooling freely in air.
