Heat Treatments

  • (+QT) Normalizing or austenitizing from 1000 to 1050ºC; tempering from 590 to 620ºC.
  • +QT1: Quenching at 1000 - 1050°C, cooling in air or liquid. Tempering at 590 - 620°C.<br />+QT2: Quenching at 1000 - 1050°C, cooling in air or liquid. Tempering at 500 - 530°C.<br />+QT3: Quenching at 1000 - 1050°C, cooling in air or liquid. Tempering at 660 - 680°C and 560 - 620°C.
