Heat Treatments
- Normalized or quenched at 1000-1050°C; Tempered at 590-620°C.<br /><br />The holding time for normalizing or quenching heating should be calculated based on the maximum wall thickness of the casting loaded in the furnace. When the thickness is less than or equal to 25 mm, the holding time shall not be less than 1 hour. For every 25 mm increase in wall thickness, the holding time shall increase by 1 hour.
- Heated to 1000 °C - 1050 °C, thermal insulation, air cooling; and at 570 °C - 620 °C. tempering, air cooling or furnace cooling
