GB ZAlSi7Mg Heat Treatments
- The furnace temperature during solid solution treatment does not exceed 300°C and the temperature rise rate should be 100°C/h.
T2: Aging treatment: Heating at 290-310°C for 2-4h and cooling in air or cooling in furnace
T4: Solution treatment: heating at 530-540°C for 2-6h and cooling in water down to 60-100°C; Aging treatment: at room temperature for minimum 24h.
T5: Solution treatment: heating at 530-540°C for 2-6h and cooling in water down to 60-100°C; Aging treatment: heating at 145-155°C for 3-5h and cooling in air.
T6: Solution treatment: heating at 530-540°C for 2-6h and cooling in water down to 60-100°C; Aging treatment: heating at 195-205°C for 3-5h and cooling in air.
T7: Solution treatment: heating at 530-540°C for 2-6h and cooling in water down to 60-100°C; Aging treatment: heating at 220-230°C for 3-5h and cooling in air.
T8: Solution treatment: heating at 530-540°C for 2-6h and cooling in water down to 60-100°C; Aging treatment: heating at 245-255°C for 3-5h and cooling in air.
T8: Solution treatment: heating at 530-540°C for 6-10h and cooling in water down to 60-100°C; Aging treatment: heating at 160-170°C for 5-10h.
