- T51: Aging treatment at 226.6°C (± 5.56°C) / 440°F (± 10°F) for 7 - 9 hours.
Solution heat treated and artificially aged (T6); sand cast: Solution heat treated at 537.7°C (± 5.56°C) / 1000°F (± 10°F)/12 hours; quenched in water at 65.5 - 100°C / 150 - 212°F.
Aging treatment: At 154.4°C (± 5.56°C) / 310°F (± 10°F) for 3 - 5 hours.
Solution heat treated and overage/stabilized (T7); sand cast: Solution heat treated at 537.7°C (± 5.56°C) / 1000°F (± 10°F)/12 hours; quenched in water at 65.5 - 100°C / 150 - 212°F.
Aging treatment: At 204.4°C (± 5.56°C) / 400°F (± 10°F) for 3 - 5 hours.
T71; sand cast: Solution heat treated at 537.7°C (± 5.56°C) / 1000°F (± 10°F)/10 - 12 hours; quenched in water at 65.5 - 100°C / 150 - 212°F.
