B.S. TA23 Heat Treatments
- Test samples taken form the material shall be annealed as follows:
I) Heat at the temperature of 790°C ± 10°C for a time dependent on the cross section (min. 30 minutes).
II) Cool in air.
Stress relieving is achived by heating the matrerial uniformly for not more than 3 hours at a temperature between 600°C and 700°C.
