IS X04Cr16Ni5Mo1 Heat Treatments
- Hot forming at 1150-900°C, cooling in air.
Annealing (+A) at 600-650°C, furnace or air cooling.
Quenching and tempering (+QT1): heating at 950-1050°C, quenching in oil or air, tempering at 590-620°C Either 2h × 4h or 1h × 8h as a minimum time.
(+QT2): Heating at 950-1050°C, quenching in oil or air, tempering at 550-620°C. - Solution annealed at 600 to 650°C - If heat treatment is carried out in a continuous furnace, the upper part of the range specified is usually preferred, or even exceeded;
