AFNOR NF X4CrNiMo16-5-1 Heat Treatments
- 1010°C <= θ <= 1060°C / OQ or WQ. Air quenching may be used for De <= 20 mm. + Tempered 580°C <= θ <= 610°C.
- Hot formed at 1150-900°C, air cooled.
A: Annealed at 600-650°C.
QT760: quenched at 950-1050°C, oil cooled. Tempered at 590-640°C.
QT900: quenched at 950-1050°C, oil cooled. Tempered at 550-620°C.
