PROPRIETARY Vibenite 280 Heat Treatments


  • Heat-treated at 1180°C and tempered at 560°C, 3x1 hour.

    Heat treatment and hardness
    1. Heat up the component according to below (allow +/- 1 HRC)
    2. Cool down to 25-50°C. Assure a cooling rate minimum 7°C/s between 1000°C to 800°C
    3. Temper at 560°C three times for at least 1 hour each time
    4. Cool to room temperature
