PROPRIETARY 1.3241 HTM (60) Heat Treatments


  • Normalised to 880°C for 5 - 10h, cooled in the oven at 10K/h to 700°C, cooled in air. Stress-relieve annealed to 650°C for 2 - 7h, cooled slowly in the oven to 500°C and then cooled in the air. Quenching medium oil, air or gas. Liquid at 500 - 550°C. Heat treatment 1: Hardened at 1100°C. Tempered at 600°C. Heat treatment 2: Hardened at 1150°C. Tempered at 550°C. Heat treatment 3: Hardened at 1200°C. Tempered at 525°C.
