PROPRIETARY SIQUAL 7147* Heat Treatments
- Soft Annealing: Heat to 650 - 700°C, cool slowly. Carburizing: 900 - 950°C. Cooling from carburizing temperature: water, oil, air, thermal bath, cooling box. Hardening: Core hardening: 850 - 880°C. Case hardening: 810 - 840°C. Quenching media: water, oil or thermal bath. Tempering: 170 - 200°C.
