PROPRIETARY SIQUAL 7149 Heat Treatments
- Soft Annealing: Heat to 650 - 700°C, cool slowly. Carburizing: 880 - 980°C, water, oil, air, hot quenching 150 - 250°C or case hardening box. Core hardening: 860 - 900°C. Surface hardening: 720 - 820°C, oil, water or hot quenching. Tempering: 150 - 200°C.
