- Normalized at 870-900°C
Heated in the range at 830-890°C, cooled in oil and tempered at 550-650°C
Jominy test at 875 ± 5°C. - Cementation process at 880 to 930°C
Hardening (core) at 850 to 880°C, oil quenching
Hardening (surface) at 810 to 840°C, oil quenching
Tempering at 150 to 200°C.
Tempering for Jominy test at 880 ± 5°C
