  • Hot forging: 850-1200°C, cooling slowly or in air;
    Annealing (+A): 670-710°C, cooling slowly (15°C/h) until 600°C
    - (+FP):Quickly to following stage 950-1000°C; Keeping about 3 hours at 630-650°C, after that: cooling in air
    Normalizing: 860-890°C, cooling in air;
    Stress relieve annealing: 650-680°C, cooling in air
    Carburizing: 860-900°C, cooling in air
    Hardening: 830-870°C, quenching in oil or water
    Tempering: 150-200°C, cooling in air
