MS X3CrNiMo13-4 Heat Treatments
- Hot forming (air cooling): 1150-900°C; +A - Annealing (furnace or air cooling): 600-650°C; +QT1 - Quenching at 950 to 1050°C and cooling in oil or air. Tempering temperature at 650 to 700°C + 600 to 620°C; +QT2 - Quenching at 950 to 1050°C and cooling in oil or air. Tempering temperature at 550 to 600°C; +QT3 - Quenching at 950 to 1050°C and cooling in oil or air. Tempering temperature at 520 to 580°C; If heat treatment is carried out in a continuous furnace, the upper part of the range specified is usually preferred, or even exceeded.
