PROPRIETARY Cryodur 2363 Heat Treatments
- Soft annealing: 800-840°C, cooling: furnace. Stress-relief annealing: approx. 650°C, cooling: furnace. Hardening: 930-970°C, Quenching: air, oil or saltbath, 500-550°C.
- Soft annealing: 802-849°C, cooling: furnace 7°C/hour to 649°C then air cool. Hardening: 927- 971°C hold at temperature for 30 minutes, cooling: furnace quench to 177°C, air cool to 49°C, immediately temper. Stress relief: 649- 699°C, cooling: hold time 2 hours, slowly cool to 499°C, then air cool.
