AFNOR NF Z 100 CD 6 1 - M Heat Treatments
- Quenched and tempered (I);
Air quenched at 950 to 1000°C or oil quenched at 870 to 900°C and tempered at 150 to 260°C;
Quenched and tempered (II);
Air quenched at 950 to 1000°C or oil quenched at 870 to 900°C and double tempered at 440°C:
Structure:
- for +QT1 condition – Martensitic, carbide
- for +QT2 condition – Martensitic, carbide
Annealed at 650°C or Full annealed at 800 to 850°C, slow cooled
