ISO 19MnMoNi5-5 Heat Treatments
- Normalizing for steel plate > 100 mm may include accelerated cooling and subsequent tempering in the temperature range of 595°C to 705°C.
Plates shall be quenched and tempered, and the tempering temperature shall be a suitable temperature to produce the specific properties, but shall not be less than 595°C.
Normalizing at 880°C to 950°C.
Austenitizing at 880°C to 950°C.
Tempering at 595°C to 690°C.
