PROPRIETARY X13VD Heat Treatments
- Annealed condition: Heat to 680°C followed by slow cooling.
Tempered I: Air cool from 1050°C. Temper at 250°.
Tempered II: Air cool from 1050°C. Temper at 650°C.
Hardening: Heat to 1050°C. Air cool or oil quench.
Temper: Depending on properties required.
Forging: 1000/900°C
