ASTM A 671 Grade CH 100 Heat Treatments


  • Post-welded heat treatment: 1025-1085°F (550-580°C)

    Quenching: 1475-1700°F (800-925°C)

    Tempering: 1050-1175°F (560-635°C). Prior to the tempering treatment, the plates may be subjected to an intermediate heat treatment consisting of heating to a temperature in the range 1165-1290°F (630-700°C) and either air-cooled or water quenched.
