ASTM A 671 Grade CG 100 Heat Treatments


  • Post-welded heat treatment: 1025-1085°F (550-580°C)

    Normalized: 1650 ± 25°F (900 ± 15°C) plus 1450 ± 25°F (790 ± 15°C). If hot forming is performed after heating to a temperature in the range from 1650-1750°F (900-955°C), the first normalize may be omitted.

    Tempering: 1050-1125°F (560-605°C)
