- Class 1
Austenitizing: 1135-1163°C (2075-2125°F), air or liquid quenching;
Tempering: Minimum 677°C (1250°F);
Stress relieving: Minimum 649°C (1200°F).
Class 2
Austenitizing: 941-968°C (1725-1775°F), air or liquid quenching;
Tempering: Minimum 593°C (1100°F);
Stress relieving: Minimum 566°C (1050°F).
