GB A31132 Heat Treatments
- For wt ≤ 30 mm: Normalizing at 980 - 1020°C, tempering at 720 - 760°C
For wt > 30 mm: Quenching and tempering: Quenching at 950 - 990°C, tempering temperature is 720 - 760°C.
Normalizing and tempering: Normalizing at 980 - 1020°C, rapid cooling and tempering at 720 - 760°C. - Hardening: heating at 970°C, cooling in air; Tempering at 750°C, cooling in air.
