CSN 1.4006 Heat Treatments
- Hot formed at 1100-800°C, air cooled.
A: Annealed at 750-850°C, oil or air cooled. Tempered at 680-780°C.
QT650: Quenched at 950-1000°C. - Hot forming: 1100-800°C, air cooling; Annealing (+A): 745-825°C, air cooling; Quenching (+QT650): 950-1000°C, oil or air cooling; (If heat treatment is carried out in a continuous furnace, the upper part of the range specified should usually be preferred, or even exceeded); Tempering: 680-780°C.
