- +NT640 (+N plus +NT):
Austenitizing at 880 to 930°C + 770 to 830°C and air cooling; Tempering at 540 to 600°C and air or water cooling.
+QT640 (+QT):
Austenitizing at 770 to 830°C and air or oil cooling; Tempering at 540 to 600°C and air or water cooling.
+QT 680 (+QT):
Austenitizing at 770 to 830°C and water and oil cooling; Tempering at 540 to 600°C and air or water cooling. - (+N+N+T) Normalized: 880-930°C + 770-830°C, cooled in air; Tempered: 540-600°C.
(+QT) Quenched: 770-830°C, cooled in oil or water; Tempered: 540-600°C.
